How to Easily Find the Right Size Tractor For Your Best Fit
Whether you’re buying your first tractor or you’re looking for a new one, getting the right size is important. It all depends on what jobs you’ll be doing. If you’re not sure where to start, then you’re in the right place. The team at Mathis has a general guideline when helping someone pick out a Branson, and we’re letting you in on the process!
Take a look at these tractors & find out which is best for you and your property.
00 Series Tractors
Branson’s sub-compact tractors in the 00 series are powerful and small enough to fit in tight spaces. They come with many of the same features as larger tractors, which is perfect for property owners who work on 5 acres or less. If you’ve got a piece of property around that size and a list of to-dos, these might be the tractors for you.
10 Series Tractors
If you have around 5 acres but want an even more comfortable ride, a premium compact tractor might be for you! Any 10 series machine has the same horsepower as the 00 series but has a bigger frame which gives you a little more space to sit comfortably while tackling jobs on your land.
Here at Mathis, we have the Branson 2610h available for you.
15 Series Tractors
These economy tractors range from 25-48 horsepower, so they’re great for people who need more lift and power in a midsize machine. If you’ve got a few horses, 5-10 acres of land, and plan to use a tractor lightly, a 15 series tractor could be for you.
We’ve got a few of these models available for you to check out, just click one to find out more.
20 Series Tractors
Now, we’re getting to the premium tractors. Any Branson tractor is a quality machine, but a 20 series has just about every capability you need on the farm. Heavy, daily use is a breeze with one of these tractors, so if you’ve got cattle (say, 200 cows) and a good bit of land to work on, these options are great for you. We also have cab tractor models available to keep you out of the elements while you work.
